What a lovely place. Maureen and her Mum were so friendly and accommodating. Lovely hospitality and delicious breakfasts. Great location in the center of town but not noisy. The room was spotless and had beautiful decor as did the rest of the property. We were very impressed.

From the moment you enter Emmet House, you are greeted with a warm welcome and you instantly feel at home. The elegant Georgian decor is also particularly charming. My room was fabulous and the attention to detail was remarkable. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were extremely spacious and absolutely immaculate. Emmet House is definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed in, and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Birr. It is undeniably excellent value for money too.

You walk in, and welcomed with open arms. The warmth of the staff, the kindness are second to none. On top of that, the rooms are in very high standard, clean, fresh and comfortable. by far the best experience in a B&B we have ever had. Will be coming back again
